3 Reasons You Should Give to The GateHouse
Addiction plays a role in every community, and while we can’t take the pain away from those struggling with addiction, we can help them the best we can through their recovery. Here are just a few reasons you should help us help the men, women, and children in our community who are suffering from addiction.
The GateHouse is the only treatment center in Pennsylvania that focuses on gender-specific care for its clients. We recognize that the consequences and effects of addiction can manifest differently for men and women. Because of this, we pride ourselves on focusing on the differing needs of each individual and work to develop a treatment plan that will work best for them and their unique needs.
Accredited and Credentialed
The GateHouse is both licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). All of our counselors are professionally licensed by the State of Pennsylvania or certified by the Pennsylvania Certification Board. Our staff includes counselors, master’s level social workers, certified addictions counselors, and certified advanced addictions counselors. We want to ensure that our residents are getting the most effective help possible, which is why we stay active with our accreditation, licensing, and professional staff.
Over the past 10 years, 76.3% of residents who completed treatment in our residential programs have remained drug and alcohol-free. Through our intensive and long-term treatment services, our residents are able to participate fully in aided recovery until they feel comfortable living independently again. We offer residential treatment, outpatient treatment, transitional living arrangements, and case management services for all of our clients.
By providing a wide range of after-detox services, many of which are long-term, our clients can determine what the best course of action is for their individual recovery. It’s also been shown that long-term treatment has higher success rates, which is why we urge our clients to stay active in their lifelong recovery journey by taking advantage of our long-term treatment options.
The GateHouse has been a pillar in the Lancaster County community since 1972. We pride ourselves on the care, attention, and professionalism we serve to each of our clients.
Considering recovery is a lifelong effort, we need all the help we can get to help support our residents to the best of our abilities. Please consider making a donation today.
