On Thursday, July 21 from 3pm-7pm, Gate House Behavioral Health Services will be holding a Grand Opening at their new facility, located at 817 North Cherry Street in Lancaster City. Both professionals and local community members are invited to this event. Gate House Behavioral Health Services will provide substance abuse outpatient and intensive outpatient counseling services and will also act as a point of entry to the system of care for those seeking help with addiction by providing drug and alcohol assessments and referral services. The Gate House’s outpatient programs were established in 2013 and are an extension of their existing long-term residential programs, established in 1972. Lancaster Mayor Rick Gray, who is part of the Lancaster County Anti-Heroin Task force, Drug Court Judge David Ashworth, and Lancaster County Commissioner Craig Lehman will speak at the dedication ceremony to take place around 5:30pm. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to Alison at alison@gatehouse.org
